Moroccan Inspired Event Bat Mitzvah Esther at Chabad Romano Centre
After a short meeting with Inna, mother of Bat Mitzvah girl, I had a filling that this time it’s going to be something different, something that in our Thornhill area never been seen before, especially in Chabad Romano Centre.
The main story behind this Bat mitzvah was the beautiful story of Purim from the “Book of Ester”.
The hero of the story are Esther, a beautiful young Jewish woman living in Persia.
Who was taken to the house of Ahasuerus, King of Persia, to become part of his harem, and he loved her more than his other women and made her queen.
Esther asked the king’s permission for the Jews in Shushan to have one more day to destroy their enemy—and the king acceded to her wish.
On that day, the 14th of Adar, the Jews worldwide celebrated, and the Jews of Shushan killed more of their enemies, and also hung Haman’s sons.
The Jews of Shushan then rested and celebrated on the 15th of Adar.
Queen Esther Saved the Jewish People.
So stunning decor of the event was created with all that in mind.
