Mississauga engagement photography Shannon and Jay

It is always a delight to capture a romantic couple who looks good in every frame and in every place.

One such couple is Shannon and Jay and the Mississauga Wedding Photographer had a wonderful time capturing some of the most romantic pictures of this good-looking couple.

The Mississauga engagement session of Shannon and Jay is divided into five places.

At first, the Missisauga Wedding Photographer took some romantic pictures of the couple in the outdoor locales of Mississauga.

Then, they took a few cozy pictures in the warmth of their house. Finally, they followed the couple to the Putting Edge, Milestones Grill Bar and The Crooked Cue.

In the outdoor photographs, Jay looks very handsome in a grey blazer and a white shirt, whereas Shannon looks charmingly beautiful in a black short dress.

We can see the couple gazing at each other in front of a tree. The way they look into each other’s eyes and share a smile speaks a lot about the depth of their love.

One of the best photographs captured in the outdoors is Shannon and Jay sitting on the swings and looking at each other lovingly.

The indoor photographs are loaded with warmth and coziness. A cute dog accompanies the couple in one of the photographs.

The photographer has captured Shannon lying down on the yellow sofa by resting her head on Jay’s lap. The couple looks extremely happy and comfortable in each other’s presence.

Next, the Mississauga Wedding Photographer follows the couple to the beautiful place called Putting Edge.

It is a glow in the dark mini golf where the couple enjoys a lot. The colorful and fun place provides a perfect backdrop for some wonderful photographs.

The photographer has captured the couple posing with the golf stick and with the other colorful props in the place.

Moroccan Inspired Event Bat Mitzvah Esther at Chabad Romano Centre

After a short meeting with Inna, mother of Bat Mitzvah girl, I had a filling that this time it’s going to be something different, something that in our Thornhill area never been seen before, especially in Chabad Romano Centre.

The main story behind this Bat mitzvah was the beautiful story of Purim from the “Book of Ester”.

The hero of the story are Esther, a beautiful young Jewish woman living in Persia.

Who was taken to the house of Ahasuerus, King of Persia, to become part of his harem, and he loved her more than his other women and made her queen.

Esther asked the king’s permission for the Jews in Shushan to have one more day to destroy their enemy—and the king acceded to her wish.

On that day, the 14th of Adar, the Jews worldwide celebrated, and the Jews of Shushan killed more of their enemies, and also hung Haman’s sons.

The Jews of Shushan then rested and celebrated on the 15th of Adar.

Queen Esther Saved the Jewish People.

So stunning decor of the event was created with all that in mind.

photography tips slow shutter speed technique

Photography tips slow shutter speed technique

Doesn’t really matter what type of photography you are doing a landscape, photojournalism , wedding photography , architecture etc.

The same “slow shutter speed technique” apples on any photographic genres.

Don’t worry too much if you don’t have any tripod with you and your lens without any image stabilizer (IS on Canon) or Vibration Reduction (VR on Nikon).

Most of the new DSLR’s or mirrorless cameras on the market, already has pretty good high ISO performance, but don’t rush to crank up ISO settings, sometimes if it’s static object as a landscape or buildings you can simply lower your ISO setting and slower the shutter speed.

For example, if you have your camera set in manual mode with 2500 ISO | aperture f4 | shutter 1/250 you can lower the ISO level and compensate it with lowering shutter speed as well, so the exposure level will be the same.

Please remember as longer the lens as harder to keep it steady.

In this shot I used Nikon latest D750 DSLR with an amazing wide angle lens Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8

After a few seconds of practising I decided to push a little bit the limits and set the camera on ISO 100 | f2.8 | 1.0 shutter 😉 (yes it’s 1 second)

After an about an 5 shots I finally nailed it and here is the result.

Nikon d750 slow shutter test

Just to make sure I’m not the steadiest person on earth 😉

It’s funny, but most of the time my wife much steadier than me in this regards.

Another example is less extreme in terms of shutter speed.

Camera settings were ISO 800 | f2.8 | 1/10

on Nikon D810 and Nikkor 14-24mm lens

The same Mississauga Convention Centre – I simply love this building, and there is a lot of Weddings we had here last year.

Amazing church ceiling at the same Greek Orthodox Church , I can look at it for an hour.

Greek Orthodox Church Mississauga

Nikon D810 great camera in this regards. The shutter lag is very short and the mirror vibration is very well controlled, so you can go very slow with your shutter speed, and the lowest basic ISO goes to a 64 and the Dynamic Range at the ISO 64 is just incredible.

Anyway, you can apply the same technique for any camera that you are using.

So let’s get started :

1 – Set your camera to manual

2 – Adjust your settings according to exposure

3 – Compose

4 – Make yourself into a comfortable position

5 – Relax

6 – Breathe in and out slowly. My release usually takes place half way into the exhale.

7 – Take a picture

This technique works for me and hopefully will work for you as well.

Always remember “Practice makes perfect”!

Enjoy
